1. Jiva IV Afro House Rooftop Party with Hong Kong’s Top African Tunes 

Translating to one of South Africa’s nine official native languages, Jiva means “to dance or move,” inspiring people to grind, groove, and shake their bodies on Saturday’s freshest Afro house-themed rooftop pool party.

Afrobeats and Amapiano meet African liqueur and tribal patterns, as well as the magical, warm décor of African plants adorned around the pool and DJ deck. DJs Richie and JAXI, Anil Ahuja, Kofi BeaM, and Arun R will blast tunes all night, so be sure to be there!

2. Germany’s Finest DJ David Mayer Headlining Magic Room at Popinjays

A German DJ but Norwegian by heart, David Mayer is travelling to Hong Kong to lay down post-sunset house tunes for a loving audience at Popinjays for May’s Magic Room event, set with flowing Moet & Chandon and Don Julio drinks and hot weather to match.

David Mayer is joined by the Magic Room crew, letting down some great techno-fused tunes with percussive house to bring the party all night.

3. Quality Goods Club Kicks Off Summer Session with The White Party Beach-themed Shindig

To kick off the summer vibes at Quality Goods Club with a series of themed parties under Quality Beach Club lasting from now till August, the St. Tropez vibes are coming to Hong Kong with a classic White Party on Saturday.

Don your lovely white shirts, dresses and pants and hit the dance floor for a night orchestrated by the tune-makers of DJ Wilkinho and Mike Wolf, who will lay down great house, disco, and electronic.

4. Malaysian Model-DJ Puiyi Coming to Holdon Club on Friday for Special Set

The ever-famous model, actress, and now-DJ hailing from Malaysia, Miss Puiyi, is coming to Lan Kwai Fong this big weekend to play on Friday at the new Holdon Club in the centre of the party district.

Known for her big room and jump-up techno tunes, Puiyi is electric on the dance floor. She tours Asia with her newfound love for DJing, having ranked in the top 100 of DJs by DjaneTop in 2023. Do not miss this one!

5. DizzLuna and Anovva Records Present EDM Rising Vol. 3 with Hong Kong EDM DJs

Brought to you by Hong Kong EDM Official, the third edition of EDM Rising is upon us, spotlighting Hong Kong’s homegrown talent for great tunes, ranging from riddim, dubstep, and bass house to psytrance, hard techno, and big room.

Walk into the mysterious Buddhist temple that is Graffiti on Thursday for a spiritual night of electronic tunes from DJs Telesummie, Anthony, Froggy Darren, DizzLuna, Erich Tod, and Shady.

6. Amsterdam’s Youthful DJ Mesto Debuts in Hong Kong at Boomerang

For his first time, Mesto from the Netherlands is set to blow out speakers and lay down some big EDM tunes at Boomerang, having amassed a global following ever since beginning his DJing career as a teenager.

Most known for creating the music for Mike Williams’ “Wait Another Day” and his debut single “Go” with Alex Ranzino, Mesto plays for Spinnin’ Records and tours the world sharing his unreal DJing.

7. 99 Bottles Celebrates Six Years in Business with Free Drinks All Day and Night on Peel Street

To celebrate one of SoHo’s most legendary bars, 99 Bottles is hosting a free free-flow bonanza this Friday to celebrate their six years in business on the steps of Peel Street. If you’re doing nothing on Friday afternoon and night, come down to grab yourself some bottles.

If you have not been to Binge Drinking Club on Elgin Street, you are sorely missing out. Behind Bars

Located in the Tai Kwun complex, Behind Bars is one of Hong Kong’s most secret bars, but it would be a crime to keep their location to ourselves. Housed in a former colonial jail cell, the bar is open on Fridays through Sundays from 5PM till 10:30PM, selling wine, beer, canned cocktails, and some snacks. It is a quiet bar that doesn’t get much love so head there and love them!
