TEG Sport has confirmed the return of the Hong Kong Football Festival (HKFF) this July to August, bringing four European heavyweights — Manchester City, FC Internazionale Milano, Chelsea FC, and Juventus — to the city.
Courtesy of TEG Sport, Hong Kong Football Festival
Set from July 31 to Aug. 5, 2026, the festival will stage two matches at the 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium in Kai Tak Sports Park. The 2026 edition follows last year’s successful return, which drew about 100,000 fans, and once again positions Hong Kong as a key stop in the global pre-season calendar ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
The opening match on Aug. 1 will see Manchester City face FC Internazionale Milano for the Asahi Super Dry Trophy. City arrive as the four-time consecutive Premier League champions, while Inter — currently leading Serie A — brings a decorated legacy spanning domestic and European titles.
The second match, scheduled for Aug. 5, features Chelsea FC against Juventus for the Herbalgy Trophy. Chelsea, the current FIFA Club World Cup holders, will take on Juventus, Italy’s most decorated domestic club. The two clubs last competed in the same group at the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League group stage.
Organized by TEG Sport and sanctioned by the Football Association of Hong Kong, China, HKFF 2026 will once again be held at the Kai Tak Stadium, a venue designed for large-scale international events.

Pre-sale registration is now open via TEG Sport, with pre-sale tickets available from May 13 and general sales beginning May 14 from HK Ticketing.
Open Training sessions will also be held at the Kai Tak Stadium, with tickets going on sale on May 14 and priced at HK$299.
