HSBC Hong Kong has introduced a new debit card and supplementary debit card exclusively for its global private banking customers. These cards, powered by Mastercard, aim to provide a seamless and rewarding foreign currency payment experience, along with competitive exchange rates.

One of the key benefits of these cards is the waiver on foreign currency transaction fees, allowing customers to make international payments without incurring additional charges. Moreover, customers can also enjoy a handling fee waiver for foreign currency cash withdrawals at HSBC Group, Mastercard, and Cirrus network ATMs worldwide.

Beyond the fee waivers, the new HSBC debit cards provide a 0.5% instant cash rebate on all purchases, thereby amplifying the benefits for users. This means that customers can earn cash back on every spending transaction they make using these cards.

The cards come with a generous spending limit of up to HK$200,000, providing flexibility for customers' financial needs. Additionally, all administrative fees associated with the cards are waived, adding to the convenience and cost-effectiveness.

The HSBC Global Private Banking Mastercard Debit Card supports up to 12 designated currencies, including AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, NZD, RMB, SGD, THB, and USD. This wide range of currency options allows customers to conduct transactions in various currencies without the hassle of currency conversions.

These new debit cards reflect HSBC Hong Kong's commitment to offering its global private banking customers a comprehensive and rewarding banking experience, simplifying international payments and financial management.
