Heads up, otakus! You can now get your much-needed dose of anime in the city, as Japan’s famous Anima Tokyo is opening its doors in Hong Kong!
Slated to be unveiled today, April 29, the 80,000-square-foot space will be home to various Japanese anime entertainment experiences and items for both locals and tourists. This includes pop-ups, merchandise, collectibles, and mangas from anime shows like “One Piece,” “My Hero Academia,” “Spy x Family,” and many more.
Along with Anima Tokyo’s opening is the launch of IncubaseArena, made in collaboration with entertainment experience producer and organizer Incubase Studio. Located on Anima Tokyo’s first floor, the space will offer various exhibitions, events, and anime-themed cafes.
In celebration of the opening, Incubase Arena is also hosting its inaugural exhibition in Hong Kong, the “FullmetalAlchemist Exhibition,” from April 29 to June 11. This comes after the exhibition’s successful run in Kuala Lumpur earlier this year.
Aside from the exhibition, guests can also sample Japanese treats at the ShowakiFood Town, located on Anima Tokyo’s second floor.
Get your tickets to the exhibition, with prices starting at HK$90, via Incutix’s website. To learn more about Anima Tokyo’s new space in Hong Kong, visit its website, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
