Manila International Book Fair Teases September Event

The country’s largest book fair gave Filipino bibliophiles an early sign to start saving up by teasing its September event.

Manila International Book Fair’s (MIBF) official Facebook page posted a new cover photo on Feb. 2 bearing the dates of its upcoming event: Sept. 14-17. That’s still seven months away, meaning you still have more than half a year to skip that iced coffee and start saving up so you can tick off your to-read list!

MIBF will be held at the SMX Convention Center, its home for years. In 2022, thousands of bibliophiles flocked to the four-day fair to scour discounted titles from more than 100 exhibitors. Aside from the books on sale, visitors can also look forward to panel discussions, book launches, and performances.
