Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival 2025

The 21st Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival runs from Oct. 3 to 12 at select cinemas across Metro Manila. This year’s entries reflect the resilience of the Filipino spirit in the midst of change and upheaval. Audiences can look forward to a curated line-up of 10 full-length features and 10 short films, and performances from Leo Martinez, Rochelle Pangilinan, Eula Valdez, Elijah Canlas, and Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia in his first lead role, among others.
Florante at Laura

Ballet Manila stages “Florante at Laura,” a daring and contemporary ballet adaptation of Francisco Balagtas’ beloved epic. Guided by Lisa Macuja Elizalde’s artistic direction, this production features the inspired choreography of Gerardo Francisco Jr. and Martin Lawrance, paired with original music and orchestration by National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab. Performance dates are set for Oct. 3 at 8 PM and Oct. 4 and 5 at 5 PM. Tickets are available through TicketWorld.

Cosplay Mania 2025: Awesome Autumn is here to mark 25 years of cosplay excellence with the most ambitious celebration yet from Oct. 3-5 at the SMX Convention Center Manila. This year’s festival will host a star-studded guest lineup with international cosplay celebrities, well-loved VTubers, talented Japanese voice actors, and top anime song performers who will take the stage for concerts every night!
FURKIDS FUN CAMP

Adventure and discovery await at "FURKIDS FUN CAMP," scheduled on Oct. 4 at the Central Garden of Robinsons Magnolia. ION+ Power Run 2025: Push Beyond Your Limit

The race is on! The "ION+ Power Run 2025: Push Beyond Your Limit," powered by ION+ Advanced Electrolyte Drink, is happening on Oct. 5 at Central Park, Filinvest City, Alabang. The event features four race categories: 3K, 5K, 10K, and 21K. Each participant will receive a singlet, a race bib with an RFID tag, a raffle ticket, and other exciting inclusions.
