THE REYES CUP

The Reyes Cup is back for its second edition, taking place from Oct. 16-19 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium. Named in honor of Filipino billiards legend Efren “Bata” Reyes, the tournament celebrates his legacy and showcases the very best in nine-ball competition. This year’s tournament raises the stakes as Team Asia, led by captain and former world champion Francisco “Django” Bustamante, defends the title on home soil against the newly formed Team Rest of the World, captained by U.S. Open champion Jeremy Jones.
KinoFest - The German Film Festival

The Goethe-Institut Philippines brings back "KinoFest," a celebration of the best in contemporary German cinema, running from Oct. 16-19 at the Red Carpet Cinemas, Shangri-La Plaza. Audiences can look forward to the powerful opening documentary “Riefenstahl,” which examines the legacy of controversial filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, alongside standout titles such as the jazz musical “Köln 75,” and the coming-of-age drama “Vena.” All screenings are FREE and open to the public!
3 Upuan

Scene Change restages “3 Upuan” at the Ateneo Art Gallery from Oct. 17-19 and 24-26. Written and directed by Guelan Varela-Luarca, the acclaimed play has evolved with every staging, delving into the complexities of time, grief, and family through the quiet conversations of siblings awaiting their father’s passing. WORLD TRAVEL EXPO YEAR 9

The "World Travel Expo" returns with twin editions on Oct. 17-19 at SPACE, One Ayala and Nov. 14-16 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Now on its ninth year, the expo gathers airlines, hotels, cruise lines, and travel agencies for the Philippines’ biggest celebration of wanderlust and discovery. Pink Run: D’Feeting Breast Cancer

Lace up for a cause at the "Pink Run: D’Feeting Breast Cancer," set for Oct. 19 at Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati. Organized by the Philippine Society of General Surgeons (PSGS), this annual advocacy run aims to raise awareness about breast cancer and support indigent patients battling the disease.
