Eyes here, cinephiles! Start your year with the Japanese Film Festival’s set of movies for free viewing in selected cinemas starting on Feb. 1 to March 3.

Widely known and appreciated as “EIGASAI” in the country, the film festival is set to delight moviegoers with a total of 14 Japanese movies.

From the 1970s classic “Voltes V: The Liberation” movie to the latest installment, “Voltes V: Legacy,” the movie lineup guarantees to delight moviegoers of all generations. In addition to anime, there are also other interesting movies with different genres scheduled for screening.

Don't miss the free screening at six participating cinemas, including Shangri-la Red Carpet Cinema from Feb. 1-11, University of the Philippines Film Institute Film Center from Feb. 22-March 3, SM Seaside City Cebu from Feb. 16-25, and SM City Baguio, SM City Iloilo, and SM City Davao from Feb. 23-March 3.

Sharing a piece of Japanese culture through films since 1997, the Japan Foundation Manila presents and manages the Japanese Film Festival, which attracts over 25,000 moviegoers each year.
