Heads up, 90s babies and anime fans! The live-action adaptation of the well-loved manga "Yu Yu Hakusho" is finally coming to Netflix on Dec. 14.

Through a press release on Thursday, Oct. 12, Netflix announced the worldwide premiere of the series and a snippet of what fans can expect from the upcoming release.

A creation of the legendary Yoshihiro Togashi, "Yu Yu Hakusho" gained immense popularity during its four-year serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump starting in 1990. With the upcoming live-action series, fans can look forward to witnessing their beloved characters portrayed in entirely new and innovative ways.

The live-action series has the same approach as the hit live-action series "One Piece," which will have its second season, ensuring authenticity by utilizing cutting-edge CG and VFX technologies from across the globe to bring all the characters, be they humans or yokai (spirits), to life in a realistic manner, particularly during the intense battle action sequences.

Directed by Sho Tsukikawa, the live-action series "Yu Yu Hakusho" is coming out on Netflix on Dec. 14.
