Wife of a 21st Century Prince

Visual overload! Beloved K-Pop and K-Drama star IU is teaming up with “Lovely Runner” lead Byeon Woo-seok in this romance series, promising fans a refreshing K-Drama pairing.
Tentatively titled “Wife of a 21st Century Prince,” the series will be set on an alternate, constitutional monarchy-led version of South Korea. It will tell the story of Sung Hee-joo (IU), the second daughter of a top chaebol family, and Prince Yian (Byeon Woo-seok), who, apart from his royalty status, has nothing in his name.
The series is slated for release in the second half of the year, so make sure to tune in to see how their fates will align.

Seocho-dong

You can never go wrong with the legal K-Drama genre. If you’ve watched the 2022 hit series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” or the 2021 drama “Law School,” you’ll know what we’re talking about.
This year, Moon Ga-young from “True Beauty” and Lee Jong-suk from “Big Mouth” are putting their spin on legal office drama with their first-ever team-up in “Seochodong.” The upcoming series revolves around Ahn Joo-hyung (Lee Jong-suk), a ninth-year senior associate lawyer who has never changed firms in his whole career, and Kang Hee-ji (Moon Ga-young), a first-year attorney who pursued law to protect her loved ones. The series will portray their growth as lawyers and cases that can happen in real life.

When the Stars Gossip
Prepare for takeoff, because K-Drama icons Lee Min-ho and Gong Hyo-jin's “When the Stars Gossip” are coming to your screens this January!
This romantic-comedy-slash-science-fiction drama follows Gong Ryong (Lee Min-ho), an obstetrician-gynecologist who joins a space expedition as a space tourist, and Eve Kim (Gong Hyo-jin), a Korean-American astronaut and a perfectionist, who receives her very first mission as a commander. Find out how their lives will become entangled with each other in this out-of-this-world story!

Newtopia
Actress Jisoo is back with another sure hit!
Following her lead role debut in “Snowdrop” in 2021, the BLACKPINK member is making her comeback to the K-Drama world as Kang Young-joo in “Newtopia,” a zombie apocalypse series set in Seoul. Young-joo is an engineer who, in the midst of a zombie outbreak, navigates chaos-driven Seoul to reunite with his boyfriend Lee Jae-Yoon (Park Jeong-min), who is in the military.
Will the two find their way to each other? Watch out for its release to find out.

Can This Love be Translated?

Hong Sisters (Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran), the minds behind popular K-dramas such as “Hotel del Luna” and “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,” are at it again with another swoon-worthy rom-com this year!
“Can This Love be Translated?” stars Kim Seon-ho as Joo Ho-jin, a skilled multilingual interpreter who becomes a personal interpreter for top South Korean actress Cha Mu-hee (played by Go Youn-jung). Having contrasting perspectives on love, the two often have misunderstandings — but will love brew despite their differences? Follow their love story soon on Netflix.

Knock-Off

Hallyu King Kim Soo-hyun will transform into the “King of Fake Market” in his newest role in the upcoming K-drama series “Knock-Off.”
In this comedy-crime-drama series, Soo-hyun will be playing Kim Sung-joon, an ordinary office worker whose life turned upside down during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis. He then enters the world of counterfeit goods and becomes the “Vice President of Saemeul Market.” He will be joined by “Destined With You” star Cho Bo-ah, who will play Song Hye-jung, Sung-joon's ex-girlfriend and a police officer who, coincidentally, is assigned to cracking down on counterfeit goods.

Squid Game 3
No need to wait longer for the third season of “Squid Game,” because it is indeed coming to your screens this year! Shortly after the release of its second installment last Dec. 26, the global phenomenon announced that its third and final season will air in 2025, promising more nail-biting events that pit Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) against the Frontman (Lee Byung-hun).
In case you haven’t watched it yet, “Squid Game” follows a lethal competition set in South Korea, where participants play a series of traditional Korean games — and eliminated contestants face death, while the winner takes a huge sum of money. Following Gi-hun's vow for revenge in Season 1 and the uprising in Season 2, the third installment is about to take viewers to the franchise's thrilling end. Plus, we’ll finally get to know what’s up with the creepy doll Young-hee's new, equally creepy friend, Chul-soo, which was teased by the end of the second season.
