Thailand’s First Space-Themed Hotel & Water Park Is Out of This World

Prepare for an exciting adventure as seaside town Pattaya has welcomed a new hotel on its turf, and it’s (literally) out of this world!
Launched in August 2022, Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya is a new flagship hotel under the LH Mall & Hotel Co., Ltd. (LHMH) group to first introduce “the extraordinary world of space travel” as a theme in Thailand. From cutting-edge façades to facilities that combine outer space design and innovative technology, the space-themed hotel is the ideal place to relax and have fun with the whole family.
Among the amazing facilities at the hotel is the 12,000-square-metre Space Water Park featuring four themed zones — Mountain Zone (with a 330-metre lazy river, cave pool, and jungle jacuzzi), Flying Rock Zone (with a fun pool, playground, and giant slides, including an eight-metre slide tower), Space Pirate Beach (with a spaceship, beach bar, and an artificial white sand beach with waves), and Planet Zone (with a mini golf course, planet pool, and amphitheatre) — to make sure there’s a variety of activities for everyone.
The hotel also boasts having the first sea-view onsen (hot spring), Let's Relax Onsen & Spa, allowing guests to unwind and experience the ultimate seascape serenity. It includes a two-storey spa, a café, and a selection of onsen pools and related facilities, such as a Warm Room and an interactive media Cold Room.
Guests can also take a dip in the Sky Pool, a picturesque outdoor pool with a jacuzzi that offers spectacular sunset views of Pattaya Bay.
Other facilities that guests can enjoy are the Kids Zone (first floor) with toys and interactive games, the Games Zone (second floor) with table games, board games, and computer games, and the 88-square-metre Entertainment Interactive Wall with adventure stories where guests can complete missions by moving their hands.
As for the rooms, there are five types to choose from depending on the space and number of guests: Space Deluxe, Space Premium, Space Connex, Space Suite, and Space Suite Connex. Each room gets a specific number of tokens, which guests can redeem for food, drinks, or souvenirs at the Space Shop.
