Prepare your taste buds for an unforgettable fusion of flavours as May Chow's acclaimed Little Bao joins forces with modern Korean eatery OBP for a culinary extravaganza like no other. This one-night-only event, set to take place this Dec. 7, promises to be a high-energy celebration of Korean cuisine and the beloved baos that have captured our hearts over the past decade.

Inspired by the spirit of their SoHo neighbourhood, May Chow, Daniel Eun, and Chef Jun have come together for this unique culinary collaboration. The Bao-Meets-Korea evening offers two exciting dining formats.

The first is a seven-course set menu for two (HK$1380) with an optional three-cocktail pairing (add HK$280) crafted by Daniel Eun of 11 Westside and PDT (New York) fame. This immersive experience unfolds inside Little Bao Central, promising an evening of indulgence.

The elaborate seven-course set menu for two takes diners on a journey inspired by late-night cravings. It begins with Tiger Prawn served with shiitake croquette, seaweed pesto, and black garlic aioli to whet the appetite. Continuing with elevated dishes like the beef tartare Yuk Hwe served in a seaweed crispy, Zucchini pancake Hobak Jeon with a Sichuan chili kick, and the iconic Ssam BAO featuring slow-cooked pork belly, the evening is sure to be an intercultural gastronomic extravaganza.

To match the wintry air, the feast will also include comforting dishes like Soondubu Jji-gye, a beef kelp broth with Korean chili, and Charsiu Kalbi Platter with LA Kalbi beef short ribs. Dessert enthusiasts will delight in a delectable Sundae made with yogurt gelato, candied pear, strawberry, frozen makgeolli, and puffed rice.

The second format offers the option to go a la carte, including the spotlight dish, Ssam BAO (HK$98), and Daniel’s bespoke cocktails at HK$98 each. This format is perfect for diners and cocktail enthusiasts who would like to soak in the vibrant neighborhood vibes of Shin Hing Street along the steps.

To complement the Korean-inspired menu, Daniel Eun has crafted three cocktails sponsored by Monkey 47. The Dokdo Gimlet combines Monkey 47 Gin, Korean sake Chungha, Green Apple Shrub, and Lime Juice. The 3!4! 120 offers an herbal martini-esque experience, while the Red Devil 02 presents a Negroni-inspired creation with a Korean twist.
