BaseHall 02’s First National Dumpling Week to Kick Off Sept. 25

Love dumplings? Well, who doesn’t? These bite-sized fillings wrapped in dough are in the spotlight as BaseHall 02 in Jardine House kicks off its first National Dumpling Week from Sept. 25-30.
With MICHELIN-recommended Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings and Hot & Meen by Chili Fagara, this event will showcase cherished family recipes and limited-time flavours of this favourite comfort food.
Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings will roll out a BaseHall 02-exclusive dumpling menu, featuring squid ink sauce and cuttlefish dumplings, beetroot sauce with mushroom, fungus, and vegetable dumplings, pumpkin sauce with shepherd’s purse and pork dumplings, spinach sauce with chives and pork dumplings, and spinach sauce with scallion and lamb dumplings for HK$55 for five pieces.
Meanwhile, Hot & Meen will explore Sichuan cuisine in their chao shou dumplings, offering new flavours such as pork and vegetable (HK$83 for six pieces), Wagyu Beef and Vietnamese herbs (HK$108 for six pieces), and vegetarian chao shou (HK$83 for six pieces).
BaseHall will also open a special pop-up with grassroots initiative A Freaking Dumpling to raise donations during the week-long campaign. For every white dumpling-shaped chopstick holder you purchase, A Freaking Dumpling will donate six real edible dumplings to the less fortunate.
"By collaborating with Ah Chun Shandong Dumplings, Hot & Meen, and A Freaking Dumpling, we aim to create a truly unique and delicious experience for our guests, while also contributing to a worthy cause," said Vivian Chao of BaseHall 02.
