Pret A Manger Reveals New Spring Menu Alongside Sustainability Initiatives

British brand Pret A Manger has unveiled a refreshingly colourful new menu across all Hong Kong branches just in time for spring. The menu, which will be available until May. 31, coincides with Pret’s pledge to reduce single-use packaging across all store locations.

As part of the brand’s long-time commitment to healthy and sustainable eating, Pret’s coffee will now be served in plastic-free lids for all hot beverages, with reusable cups and cutlery being introduced, along with additional rewards for customers who bring their own cups. 

The vibrant Spring menu includes three new yoghurt and granola goodness bowls, two new malted rye rolls, a new pasta choice, and other lighter options such as Italian Pesto Chicken and Sesame Portobello Mushroom salad.

“We are thrilled to welcome Spring by refreshing our menu with new offerings that will brighten the day while remaining steadfast to our ethos of fresh, healthy eating” says Eira Jarvis, Managing Director of Pret A Manger in Asia. 

Items such as the Rose Cappuccino, Pastel De Nata, Cheese Twist, Duo Melon with Mint, Kiwi & Pineapple, ABC Juice, and Nut, Fruit & Chocolate bar make this new menu a highly varied one for full meals and snacking.

Pret aims to be more sustainable each year, replacing plastic lids for takeaway hot-drink cups with biodegradable, compostable, and plastic-free pulp-fibre lids. Customers are also encouraged to bring their own tumblers and cups for a HK$5 discount.
