Son Ye-jin at The Valentino Haute Couture Show

The lovely Chateau de Chantilly, situated just north of Paris, was transformed into a stage for Valentino's spellbinding haute couture presentation held last July 5. One of the special guests who graced the occasion is Korean actress Son Ye-jin, who returned after embracing motherhood and welcoming her first child with husband Hyun Bin on Nov. 27, 2022.

Radiating elegance and confidence, the actress was dressed in a black oversized blazer with a crisp white button-down shirt adorned with intricate black floral embroidery worn underneath.

Ye-jin’s ensemble was reminiscent of a schoolgirl with a modern twist, showcasing her innate fashion style and appealing presence.

Steal this look: This classic Cotton Poplin Blouse by Misook bears a resemblance to Son Ye-jin’s inner top, thanks to its stunning embroidered florals with a structured silhouette that suits trousers or a neat skirt.

BTS J-Hope, Star of Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2023 Collection

BTS member J-Hope is the star of Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign for the fall/winter 2023 collection, which LV posted on Instagram on July 13. According to the luxury fashion house, the campaign was designed to celebrate the inquisitive nature of humans by drawing inspiration from transformative experiences from childhood to adulthood.

J-Hope was cloaked in a cotton casual polo from LV with a leafy pattern that accentuated his jaw-dropping visuals. It is made with a see-through mesh and intricately crafted with delicate crochet-like embroidery in various colours.

Steal this look: Online clothing shop Yes Style offers this red crochet-knit vest and off-shoulder patterned crochet lace top with a high-waist midi knit skirt for a fraction of the price. These items will look like a stylishly coordinated couple’s outfit when paired with J-Hope’s ensemble.

Jungkook’s Outfits on ‘Seven’ MV

On July 14, Big Hit Music rolled out Jungkook’s official solo single, “Seven” featuring Latto. In the music video, the BTS’ maknae and Korean actress Han So-hee acted as lovers who constantly argued. The maknae wanted to pursue his love interest and win So-hee's attention despite explosions, floods, and rains and even faked his death.

In keeping up with JK’s solo era, we’ve gathered some of his best ensembles. Jungkook stans can’t deny that he looks sharp in the British cut chalk stripe suit designed by the South Korean fashion house Tailorable that he wore on the scene of his faux death.

The part where he wore a pair of rider leather trousers from Dion Lee as he hangs outside the window of a speeding train is another fan favourite. The back waist and hips of these leather trousers may be adjusted using Velcro tabs. In the same scene, Jungkook wore a Kappa Sweetheart shirt from the LA-based fashion label ERL.

As for the last scene, as JK and So-hee ran in the rain, he was clad in a tempo vintage brown jacket from Eytys.

Ji Chang-wook at the Giorgio Armani Mare Collection Pop-up Launch in Singapore

Giorgio Armani brought the heat of Italian summer to Singapore with its alluring pop-up shop at Marina Bay Sands last July 16-26. The store was adorned with a relaxing Italian seaside theme to showcase its Mare Capsule Collection.

The pop-up launch was attended by several celebrities, including one of South Korea’s heartthrobs, Ji Chang-wook. The actor sported an Armani Sustainability Values Lyocell and silk single-breasted jacket in powder pink, making him stand out from the crowd.

Steal this look: For a wallet-friendly alternative, you may shop this rose blush single-breasted suit set by Deliver Deliver Daily that conveys a striking resemblance to the actor’s pink ensemble.

MiSaMo Debut x ‘Do not touch’ MV Outfits

TWICE’s first sub-unit, MiSaMo, is a portmanteau of the group’s Japanese line – Mina, Sana, and Momo. The trio officially debuted in Japan on July 26 and released their six-song mini album,“Masterpiece.”

On July 13, MiSaMo released the “Do not touch” music video, inspired by classic art pieces such as Botticelli's “The Birth of Venus,” Fragonard's “The Swing,” Gustav Klimt's “The Tree of Life,” and more. The three idols looked like goddesses who descended to Earth, wearing these classic art-inspired outfits.

Mina Myoi wore an embellished crochet-cut maxi dress from Coperni in black that elevated her innate beauty and enhanced her natural curves. It is designed with a plunging crisscross neckline and is entirely made of gauzy crochet fabric with sparkling large sequins.

Steal this look: This V-neck bodycon dress from H&M shares similarities to Mina’s maxi dress because of its calf-length cut with a high slit at one side.

If your bias among the three is Minatozaki Sana, or simply Sana, you surely couldn't help but stare in awe at the dazzling tan rhinestone-studded fishnet maxi dress she wore from the London-based fashion label Self-Portrait. It has a lingerie-inspired bodice and diamanté trims that add an extra sparkle.

Steal this look: For a less-expensive version of Sana’s rhinestone-studded tan dress, we recommend checking out this midi-length tan dress by Petal & Pulp. Just add some rhinestones to the ribbed hem to copy Sana’s style.

With her alluring looks and rapping skills, fans dubbed Momo Hirai “Mo-phrodite” with her embellished mesh gown from Giuseppe di Morabito with a cowl neck and tonal undergarments.
