Hang Seng Bank Revitalizes Reward Program with +FUN Dollars
August 16, 2023
Hang Seng Bank recently launched a new campaign featuring its refreshed +FUN Dollars rewards programme. This enhanced loyalty scheme is designed to adapt to changing consumer behaviours, particularly in the wake of a surge in economic activity and consumer spending.
Rannie Lee, the head of wealth and personal banking at Hang Seng Bank, stated that in the first half of the year, Hang Seng credit card customers recorded significant double-digit percentage growth compared to the same period last year. The bank also saw a 40% uptick in new credit card accounts.
The +FUN Dollars rewards programme integrates Hang Seng credit card services into everyday spending, offering customers a simpler, more personalised, and more diverse range of rewards and privileges. The campaign, launched on Aug. 14, includes a video advertisement featuring Hong Kong actress Dodo Cheng and singer Hung Ka Ho.
The upgraded programme provides more personalised rewards and includes experiences and multiplier redemption offers, such as “+FUN Tuesday” and “+FUN Surprise”.
Additionally, the bank introduced the ‘+FUN Centre’, a one-stop rewards platform on the Hang Seng mobile app, allowing customers to check their +FUN Dollars and latest redemption offers.
Starting from Aug. 22 until the end of the year, customers can spend +FUN Dollars online and offline at over 15,000 merchant outlets, including Muji, 7-Eleven, Open Rice, and Trip.com. The revamped reward programme aims to ensure that customers can earn +FUN dollars seamlessly, aligning with their everyday spending habits.
