Disney’s 100 Anniversary: 100 Giant BE@RBRICK Figurines at Harbour City

In a grand celebration of Disney's 100th anniversary, Tsim Sha Tsui’s Harbour City has partnered with the renowned Japanese toy manufacturer MEDICOM TOY to present a spectacular exhibition – "Disney100 CHRISTMAS LOVE 2000% BE@RBRICK UP."

This exhibition features a stunning display of 100 giant Disney-themed BE@RBRICK figurines, each a colossal 2000% of the standard size, towering at approximately 140cm tall.

From Nov. 24, 2023 to Jan. 1, 2024, visitors can revel in the magic of Disney at Harbour City, where this enchanting exhibition unfolds across various locations, from Gateway Arcade to the atrium of Ocean Terminal and at Gallery by the Harbour.

There will be 100 exclusive 2000% Disney-themed BE@RBRICK figurines on show, presenting a diverse array of beloved Disney characters. From horrifying yet captivating villains like Maleficent from ‘Sleeping Beauty’ to icons like Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid,’ and loveable underdogs such as Russell and Carl from ‘Up.’

Visitors will have the chance to encounter iconic characters from the Mickey and Friends series, timeless Disney Classics, enchanting Disney Princesses, as well as characters from the captivating worlds of Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.

What makes these 2000% Disney-themed BE@RBRICK figurines truly special is their departure from the classic BE@RBRICK design. Crafted from fibreglass material, these figurines sport an all-in-one and non-action design, exclusively created for the Harbour City BE@RBRICK showcase.

Among these colossal figures, 53 feature brand-new designs, including the captivating BE@RBRICK Gingerbread Mickey Mouse and the delightful BE@RBRICK Olaf. These new additions will be complemented by classic 100%, 400%, and 1000% size figurines. Notably, this marks the first appearance of Olaf in the BE@RBRICK collection, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of the release of the beloved film "Frozen."

What’s more, there will also be a collection of figurines decked out in specially designed Christmas outfits. This includes Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pixar casts, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Mike Wazowski, and many more.

To complement the exhibition, Harbour City has introduced a pop-up store where visitors can peruse and shop a range of exclusive BE@RBRICK figurines and merchandise. The offerings include tote bags, T-shirts, socks, cushions, carpets, cookie sets, and calendar cards, all themed around these beloved Disney characters.

Celebrating the spirit of giving that’s tied to the holidays, part of the proceeds from this celebration will be donated to the "Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation," aligning with Harbour City’s cherished Christmas tradition of giving back to the community.
