Hari Raya Puasa 2023: End Your Fast at These Halal Buffets in Singapore

The Eid festival, also known as Hari Raya Puasa or Hari Raya Aidilfitri, succeeds the month-long fasting or Ramadan of Muslims.
On the first day after Ramadan, Muslims head to the mosque to say prayers, as well as ask for forgiveness from elders and loved ones, according to the National Library Board. Houses are festooned with decor, and some also buy new clothes to commemorate the end of fasting.
Meaning "grand day of rejoicing," Hari Raya Puasa is celebrated with a huge feast. It often includes specialties like beef rendang, ketupat (a coconut leaf-wrapped rice cake), and lontong (rice cake in coconut gravy), among many others. Others also go to restaurants to celebrate this day. Hari Raya Puasa falls on April 22, a Saturday, in Singapore.
As Muslims must only eat halal (lawful or permitted) food, much care should be taken when it comes to the preparation of their dishes. In Singapore, there are many restaurants that offer halal food. Eat to your heart’s content on Hari Raya Puasa by visiting these Halal-certified buffets!
