Regent Hong Kong Returns with New Concepts, Lai Ching Heen & More

Regent Hong Kong is set for a magical return to Hong Kong later this year, after extensive renovation and change of face, with four of its iconic restaurants reimagined to build upon its heritage of innovation.

Opened since December of 2022, the renowned Regent Hong Kong hotel had returned with the launch of Dining Destination, a collection of four iconic restaurants catering to all moods and occasion including The Steak House, Harbourside, and The Lobby Lounge, as well as hosting the reopening of two Michelin-starred Lai Ching Heen.

The first Hong Kong steak house to feature a charcoal grill in the 80's, The Steak House pairs sizzled meats, seafood and wines imported from worldwide, alongside their famous Salad Bar, offering a premium selection of crudités, fresh salads, cured seafood, cold cuts, and fine cheeses.

At the Lobby Lounge, guests can enjoy all-day dining with "comfort food" dishes created by Head Chef Rajiv Chowdhoorys, including Wagyu beef cheeseburger, Bikini sandwich with Iberico ham, cheddar and black truffle, Lobster dog, Hainanese chicken rice and Laksa lemak.

Situated at the edge of Victoria Harbour, guests can also enjoy one of the best views in Hong Kong over decadent lunch and dinner buffets at Harbourside. Reimagined in a joint effort by design firm Bar Studio and the hotel's culinary team, Harbourside is bursting with energy, aromas, and flavours.

Meanwhile, two-star Michelin restaurant Lai Ching Heen returns to the reopened Regent Hong Kong. It's the perfect setting to enjoy the restaurant's delicious Cantonese dishes, as well as speciality brews selected and prepared by Lai Ching Heen's very own Tea Sommelier.

“Innovation is the best way to carry on the Regent Hong Kong’s original spirit: from its opening in 1980, the hotel was a pioneer in terms of service and offerings and set the standard for hotels to come. Regent Hong Kong has always looked to the future, and so do its restaurants,” said Michel Chertouh, Regent Hong Kong’s Managing Director.
