With its lush surroundings and fresh breeze, a farm lets you bask in nature and experience what it’s like to live simply.
Here are nine must-visit farms in Hong Kong that will give you a taste of countryside living at least once in your life.
Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden
The Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden is a conservation and education centre that aims to raise awareness on ecology and sustainability. Visitors of Kadoorie Farm can choose a myriad of attractions to check out, such as the wildlife pond, the fruit forest, the magnolia garden, the woodland trail, and the monkey haven, among many others.

Go Green Organic Farm
Famous for its lovely alpacas that came from Australia, this organic farm in Hong Kong promotes organic farming and low-carbon, environmental-friendly agriculture. One of its most notable projects is a collaboration with Sanrio to introduce the first-ever Hello Kitty Go Green organic farm and Hello Kitty Green Living Organic Shop.
In 2017, it launched the first pineapple-themed farm in Hong Kong called “Pineapple Farm."
For group visits, it offers various organic farming activities, animal feeding, and handicraft workshop. Pets are allowed on the farm, but owners should get a permit and ensure that their pets won’t disturb other visitors.

Living Farm
Want to experience suburban farming? Bring in your friends and family at Living Farm to enjoy the sunny fresh air. This farm in Hong Kong also provides farming tools for visitors, along with soil, seed, and organic fertilizers.
For farm rentals, guests are allowed to choose whether they would take care of the crops themselves or share them with farmers. Moreover, you can attend organic farming classes that take about 2 hours every session. Each session will help you better understand how to grow and nurture crops in an environmental-friendly way.
Living Farm online shop offers organic products including hand wash, insect repellant, and oregano balm.

Tai Tong Eco Park
Established in 1994, this farm in Hong Kong is a child-friendly destination where you can unwind and enjoy nature’s beauty.
Some of the facilities you can visit at Tai Tong Eco Park are the lotus fishpond, children’s playground, and lake pavilion. You can also do strawberry picking and horse riding, as well as join creative workshops. Aside from its leisure and recreational projects, Eco Park aims to promote environmental awareness and improve the mental wellbeing of every visitor.

Fruitful Organic Farm
Just like other farms in Hong Kong, Fruitful Organic Farm provides farmland rental and guided tours for group visitors like companies, schools, and other organizations.
Apart from that, it has a fruit and vegetable delivery service for HK$10. Orders HK$200 or more are free of charge. For those who want to pick up their orders, collection time starts at 10 AM to 6 PM every Monday to Friday only.

Bunny Wonderland
Bunny Wonderland is one of the must-visit farms in Hong Kong because of its educational facilities for parents and kids. Spanning more than 5,000 square feet, Bunny Wonderland is the perfect venue for outdoor activities, school trips, corporate visits, and birthday parties.
Parents can enroll their kids in different workshops or have their young ones visit the reptile hall with a guided tour and hang out with little white rabbits.

HKFYG Organic Farm
Recharge physically and mentally at the HKYFG Organic Farm. You may visit two areas of the farm, one of which is the open area where you can see herbs and potted plants, and comes at no charge; meanwhile, visitors who want to enter the Greenhouse Area will have to shell out HK$20 per head.

Holiday Farm
Holiday Farm is an educational and interactive farm that has been around since 1992. You'll love the picturesque greenery and various animals you'll see here, as well as the fun activities in store for you and your family. Aside from visiting the botanic garden and experiencing farming on your own, you can also join activities like bread making, scarecrow making, and windchime making.

Nature's Harvest in Sai Kung is a boutique organic farm and wellness getaway by the sea.
