Frozen Yogurt is Not Dead: Places in Singapore to Get This Sweet-Tangy Treat

Is frozen yogurt still a thing? There was a time when froyo appeared to be everywhere, when a trip to the mall meant seeing a horde of mallgoers carrying ubiquitous white cups containing swirls of froyo and colorful toppings. But the froyo trend seemed to have waned as fast as it waxed in the early 2000s and 2010s, its once crazed popularity now replaced by milk tea and its legion of jumbo straw-sucking fans.
This doesn't mean froyo has lost its luster; it’s still an apt choice for the health-conscious, a pick-me-up treat that constitutes either a snack or dessert and is sinful only in taste, not calorically.
Check out these five froyo places in Singapore for a delicious and healthy treat!
Sogurt
Singaporean froyo store Sogurt, which was founded in 2010 by Lee Liping, is the city- state's first ever fully self-serve froyo place. Through the years, the band built and then scaled back 15 of its stores, before settling on one flagship concept, the KARA Cafe & Dessert Bar, in 2017. In 2021, Sogurt launched a new campaign to refresh its brand outlook to reimagine the place of froyo in the future of e-commerce, health, and wellness. Sogurt offers delectable flavors like strawberry yuzu, premium dark chocolate, peach mango, and premium avo-melaka, among others.
Frozilicious
Froziliciou's halal froyo is proudly Singaporean and 100% locally Muslim-owned. Established in 2013, Frozilicious offers 10 flavors that are low in fat and guilt-free, a blend of dairy and vegetable fat to achieve its soft serve consistency.
