NewJeans x McDonald’s Meal to Delight Bunnies in Hong Kong Starting Oct. 24

Following the tremendous success of previous McDonald's collaborations, such as the BTS meal with McNuggets and limited-edition dipping sauces, the fast-food giant had teamed up with the South Korean girl group NewJeans to create a special collab meal that’s taking Asia by storm.

The NewJeans x McDonald's meal was first introduced in South Korea in July and quickly became a fan favourite. It then made its way to other Asian markets, including the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Now, Hong Kong is eagerly awaiting its arrival on Oct. 24.

One of the standout features of this partnership is the bespoke packaging. The NewJeans x McDonald’s meal containers will feature the group's beloved bunny mascot, Tokki, instantly adding a touch of K-pop flair to your meal.

Fans can choose from two tantalizing combinations: the Spicy Crispy Chicken burger, served with a side of fries that can be upgraded with Shake Shake honey butter seasoning. In the beverage department, the McDonald's NewJeans meal offers the option to upgrade to a Yuzu Punch with Fruit Cocktail that blends spice with a cooling citrus flavouring. And of course, no collaboration is complete without exclusive branded merchandise. Expect to find stickers, photo cards, keyrings, and more to accompany your meal.

NewJeans, the South Korean girl group that took the music scene by storm when it was formed in July 2022 by the ADOR music label, currently boasts a talented lineup of five members: Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein. Through tracks ranging from their TikTok anthem “OMG” to earworm hits like “Super Shy” and “ETA” off their latest EP “Get Up,” the band has rapidly shot to mainstream popularity.
