Ticket Prices, Vaccine Rules, and Attractions: All You Need to Know About Water World Ocean Park

Although Ocean Park will officially say goodbye to three iconic rides next month, the theme park has made sure visitors have something new to look forward to with the opening of Water World. To get you clued in, here’s everything you need to know before the much-awaited theme park opens its doors on Sept. 21, 2021.
Attractions

All 27 rides will be available at the launch of Water World Ocean Park. Like Ocean Park, Water World is divided into different themed zones: Hidden Village, Adventure Coast, Thrill Valley, Torrential River, and Splendid Reef.
The Splendid Reef zone will greet you and other visitors as it leads to a gorgeous view of the seaside. From here, you can head over to Torrential River for exhilarating water slides before going down to Hidden Village, where Hong Kong’s first indoor wave pool is located. You can take a break from all the adrenaline-pumping activities by lounging in one of the cabanas in the Adventure Coast zone. Then, cap off your experience by freefalling from Bravery Cliffs or cruising down the track of Thunder Loop as you go on different twists and turns.

A day won’t be enough to experience all 27 rides as we expect throngs of people waiting to line up for each attraction. So, to help you map out your itinerary, here are our early favorites:
Rainbow Rush
This outdoor ride is an eight-lane racer slide that leads to the stunning sight of the Aberdeen Channel.
Whisker’s Splash
If you have a toddler, Whisker’s Splash is the place to be. Kids can take a dip in the indoor pool or explore the maze and six other special areas.
Lazy Cruise
Lazily float along in a river tube when you ride Lazy Cruise, which is also perfect for kids and offers different nature views.
Vaccine Protocols
Park visitors are not required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to gain entry. However, they are encouraged to wear masks while lounging in the park or are not on a ride. Social distancing measures will also be implemented.

Ticket prices
As part of its grand opening offer, Water World Ocean Park is selling tickets for as low as HK$320 for adults and HK$225 for children. Grab this discounted promo as the ticketing system will be dynamic after launch, which means prices will be higher at peak periods such as holidays or weekends and cheaper during weekdays.
Got a child under three? You’re in luck because their admission is free!
If you want to skip the line, avail of the Splash Pass Lite, which gives you priority access to up to four attractions for additional HK$250, or the Splash Pass Pro, which has priority access to nine attractions for HK$350.
How to buy tickets
You can purchase tickets from Water World Ocean Park’s website. A maximum of 10 tickets can be purchased per transaction. Tickets purchased online can be printed after payment or redeemed in person at the Water World Ocean Park ticket booth.
A separate ticket is needed if you want to visit the main Ocean Park.
How to get to Water World Ocean Park
