Osteria Marzia's Lunch Menu Celebrates Southern Italy with a Modern Twist

There’s something about lunch that calls for simplicity — but not at the expense of flavor and Osteria Marzia gets that balance just right.
Tucked inside The Fleming in Wan Chai, this coastal Italian spot has rolled out a new lunch menu that feels like a seaside escape in the middle of the city. Known for its maritime-inspired interiors and ingredient-driven philosophy, the restaurant invites diners on a culinary voyage through Campania, Sicily, and beyond — where tradition meets creativity.

The menu opens with Crudi, Cotti e Insalate, a showcase of four raw and cooked starters to choose from.
Choices include Shimaji e Melagrana, a delicate Japanese Goldenthread fish paired with ruby pomegranate and fragrant tarragon oil — a dish described as “a slow-burning romance between East and West.” For rustic comfort, Pappa al Pomodoro layers charcoal-grilled bread with tomato sauce, stracciatella cheese, and smoked chicory.
Seppia alla Genovese brings baby cuttlefish and black ink together in a Ligurian-inspired medley, while the adventurous will appreciate Maruzzelle e Polenta, featuring slow-braised sea snails in a rich tomato sauce over creamy polenta.

Pasta, as the highlight of the menu, comes with two standout options.
Spaghetti al Tonno is a Southern Italian classic elevated with Mediterranean tuna belly, Sicilian capers, Taggiasca olives, and a drizzle of bay leaf oil — a “delectable alliance” of regional flavors.
Meanwhile, Pasta con le Sarde reinterprets Sicilian heritage with hand-rolled busiate pasta and Japanese iwashi sardines, finished with wild fennel, celery, and juniper berries for an aromatic, layered experience.

The Polpo e Fagioli pairs Mediterranean octopus with cannellini beans and frigitelli oil, echoing the rustic elegance of Italy’s coastal kitchens. Sides include whipped Purè di Patate or Carote alla Brace, charcoal-grilled baby carrots glazed with orange and chives.

The sweet finale features two Italian classics: Panna Cotta with almond milk, dark chocolate chips, and pistachio, and Babà al Rum, a Neapolitan sponge cake soaked in rum and crowned with Limoncello Chantilly cream.
With its nautical-chic setting, Southern Italian wine cellar, and storytelling-driven approach, Osteria Marzia offers an escape to the Mediterranean. This new lunch menu is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to authenticity, innovation, and seasonality.
