PAWesome Winner! Corgi From the PH Wins World Dog Show 2023

A four-year-old Pembroke Welsh corgi from the Philippines has brought home the biggest treats as the World Winner and Best of Breed Award winner at the recent World Dog Show Awards 2023.

Along with his owner, Eastern Promise of Hamarang, or simply Dalbong, went face-to-face with 131 other dogs of his own breed, 1,592 herding dogs, and 55 herding dog breed winners and successfully brought the biggest treat to the country as the first dog from the Philippines to become the world winner from the biggest competition in the dog show industry.

Wency Villanueva, Dalbong's human buddy, shared his utmost gratitude to his fellow exhibitors, family members, and friends for supporting him as they proudly waved the Philippine flag in the international competition.

And most especially, the biggest shoutout goes to his best furry boy for always giving his best effort in the competition.

Hailing from different parts of the world, dogs of different breeds came together in Geneva, Switzerland, for the World Dog Show 2023 last Aug. 24-27 to showcase their skills in different competitions.
