LMO Amber's Star-Studded Alumni Return to Hong Kong with Exclusive Menu

Renowned for redefining French fine dining in Hong Kong, Chef Richard Ekkebus of Amber is orchestrating an unparalleled gastronomic event with a lineup of esteemed culinary stars.
For three extraordinary evenings, he is assembling a remarkable roster of 11 chefs and talents who have graced The Landmark Mandarin Oriental during its near two-decade long history. Boasting a collective 13 Michelin stars and 1 Asia’s Best 50 Bar among the participants, the exclusive menu will soon be available between Sept. 18 to 20.
These esteemed alumni—once integral members of the hotel or Amber teams—are returning to craft a sublime 10-course 'Amber Alumni Return Tasting Menu'.
Commanding the culinary brigade, Chef Ekkebus, along with Chefs de Cuisines Terry Ho, Stanley Poon, and Executive Pastry Chef Carles Codina, will reunite with seven international Michelin-starred chefs. Among the alumni are such luminaries as Sidney Schutte from Spectrum in Amsterdam, Maxime Gilbert from Écriture in Hong Kong, and Florence Dalia from 16 by Flo in Taipei - to name just a few.
Enhancing the enchanting evenings, acclaimed mixologist Agung Prabowo, an original member of the hotel’s opening team, will craft an exclusive champagne cocktail that will be served as a lavish prelude to an evening of unparalleled flavours.
Throughout his tenure, Chef Ekkebus has nurtured exceptional culinary talent under his tutelage. This reunion is a tribute not only to Amber and the hotel’s anniversary, but to the legacy of his mentorship.
The 10-course Amber Alumni Return Dinner Menu is priced at HK$3398 per person, which includes Agung’s champagne cocktail. A curated 5-glass wine pairing by Dirk Chen, the Hotel’s Director of Wine, is additionally available for HK$1998 per diner.
