McDonald’s Hong Kong x Verdy to Launch Pop-Up Store at ComplexCon 2024

ComplexCon 2024 goers, here’s another reason for you to get pumped!

Fastfood chain McDonald’s Hong Kong is setting up a pop-up store at the festival in collaboration with Japanese graphic artist and ComplexCon 2024’s artistic director, Verdy, from March 23 to 24.

To amplify the excitement, McDonald’s Hong Kong teased what the pop-up will look like through a social media post. The pop-up, clad in the chain’s signature colours - yellow, red, and black - will also be adorned with Verdy’s iconic character, Vick.

The pop-up will serve limited-edition menu items, including a nine-piece chicken McNuggets set with two special dipping sauces and hotcakes sprinkled with chocolate powder in the shape of Vick.

Aside from this scrumptious exclusive menu, the pop-up will also introduce a Vick Collector's Edition set, featuring vinyl figures of the character holding McDonald’s signature fries, McNuggets, and more.

ComplexCon goers and McDonald’s app members can pre-order this collector’s set through a QR code displayed at the pop-up starting March 23 at 10 AM.

ComplexCon is making its Hong Kong debut from March 22 to 24 at the AsiaWorld Expo. Artists who will be gracing the event with their explosive performances include stars from South Korean entertainment label AOMG, American rapper 21 Savage, and local artists Novel Fergus, MC Yan, and Edison Chen.
