Cathay Pacific In-flight Entertainment Now Showing Disney+ Originals

Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong's flagship carrier, is set to elevate its inflight entertainment experience by becoming the first airline in the Asia-Pacific region to feature Disney+ Original titles.

Starting from Dec. 1, passengers can experience in-flight entertainment that's nothing short of magical, as they become transported to the captivating worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic.

The selection is set to feature over 100 hours' worth of films, series, and documentaries, including some of Disney+'s exclusive entertainment content. Whether you're a fan of heroic adventures like Marvel's "Loki," or if you prefer the galaxy-far-far-away tales of "Obi-Wan Kenobi," or even cutesy crowd favourites like "Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers" and the eagerly anticipated "Disenchanted."

Also being upgraded is the hardware on the Cathay Pacific Airbus A321neo aircraft. Passengers will be treated to 4K ultra-high-definition screens, along with Bluetooth audio streaming across all cabins, allowing for connection to Bluetooth-enabled headphones.

The in-flight upgrades don’t just stop at entertainment. More recently Cathay Pacific has also collaborated with renowned Hong Kong-based restaurants Veda and Pirata to curate special menus for passengers. These menus feature plant-based items from Veda's Mediterranean-influenced menu and Pirata's classic Italian comfort cuisine, offering a diverse range of culinary delights to cater to all tastes.
