Mondrian at Ennismore, the parent company of boutique hotel group Mondrian, announced the opening of Mondrian Hong Kong in the last quarter of 2023, the hotel’s first location in Greater China, offering a curated cultural experience for the Hong Kong and Chinese market.

A grandchild of the original MONDRIAN hotel in Los Angeles, with properties in New York, Miami, London, Cannes, Doha, and Seoul, this new addition to the hotel’s portfolio continues to uphold the brand's ethos of revolutionising spaces by infusing art, creativity, and the unexpected into local neighbourhoods.

Nestling within the vibrant Tsim Sha Tsui, the Mondrian Hong Kong presents an eclectic blend of architecture, cuisine, and artistry. Each of the 324 rooms designed by Karin Krautgartner offers a personal vantage point overlooking Victoria Harbor's glittering waters. The hotel’s brand lays commitment to the phrase “Inspired. By People.“

The narrative of creativity continues at the innovative cocktail bartending station Avoca on the 38th floor, a Joyce Wang-designed 39th floor steakhouse Carna by Dario Cecchini, famed Italian butcher, the breathtaking 40th floor space dedicated to cultural happenings and innovative collaborations.

“Entering the Chinese market is an incredible milestone in our expansion, and as with all Mondrian locations globally, community and culture will be essential. Introducing the brand through personal stories and a variety of perspectives is a powerful way to foster a meaningful connection with the local community and engage travelers with an experience that is truly inspiring,” says Chadi Farhat, Brand COO for Mondrian at Ennismore.

“‘Inspired. By People‘ isn’t just sentiment for us; it’s a promise and an ethos we live and breathe. There is no doubt in my mind that the more diversity the better, race, cultural, sexual, gender, religion. You are just a better team for it. So, it’s a massive philosophy for us. I find endless inspiration in people and their stories,” says Dirk Dalichau, General Manager of Mondrian Hong Kong.
