Sweet & Fizzy: The Beat Asia Tries Woomera Wines' New Pink Moscato

Filipino Gen Zs, Zillenials, and Millenials love all things pretty, delightful, and fun. To cater to these exquisite tastes, Wine Brothers Philippines Corporation’s (WBPC) and San Miguel Corporation's Woomera Wines has launched a new product that will delight connoisseurs and casual wine enjoyers: the Woomera Pink Moscato.
In an exclusive launch event held on Oct. 17 at Electric Garden in Bonifacio Global City, The Beat Manila had the chance to taste the brand’s latest offering and dive into the vibrant world of Woomera Wines, abloom with magical experiences.
Sweet & Fizzy: A Delightful Bevvy
Right off the bat, Woomera Wines’ Pink Moscato offers a feast for the eyes with its muted pink color and fizzy appearance, giving it an elegant and sparkling look that girly girls (and men, too!) will definitely love. The wine also stuns with its floral aroma that easily captivates our senses.

But what makes this beverage a standout is, of course, its taste. Infused with notes of tropical fruits like mango, lychee, and pineapple, this wine offers a sweet and refreshing taste. Coupled with a light kick of alcohol, this wine is perfect for those who prefer easy-drinking.
The Woomera Pink Moscato can also be enjoyed as anaperitif, or when paired with something savory like seafood dishes and some mild cheeses. Don’t be fooled by its sweetness, though, because this wine is also a great combination with sweet desserts like cakes and fruits.
'Drink Up, Pink's Out!'
To celebrate this new beginning, Woomera Wines invited Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), influencers, and media partners to get a first look and taste of the new product. Apart from giving guests a taste of their new Pink Moscato, Woomera Wines also indulged the guests with a series of activities during their "Drink Up, Pink's Out" launch event.
This includes the “Wine & Design” segment, where guests unleashed their creativity through a glass painting activity. This is followed by “Sip & Stem,” where visitors enjoyed crafting and arranging their own flower bouquets and snapping photos with their own flower arrangement creations — and ode to the wine’s captivating beauty and floral charms.


Making sure guests can take home some memories from the event, Woomera Wines also set up a “Moscato & Moments” photo booth where they can strike a pose, take pictures, and get printed and digital copies of these snaps.
These activities were complemented by an intimate lunch featuring Woomera Wines’ very own Pink Moscato, paired with a selection of Electric Garden’s delicious contemporary Japanese and European food.
Woomera Wines: Legacy in the Making
About five years since its entry into the Philippine market, Woomera Wines brought with them authentic Australian wines that are crafted to suit the Filipino taste, starting off with Cabernet Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Rosé. Despite the pandemic happening in 2020, Woomera Wines continued with their vision and unveiled the White Moscato and Sweet Red Wine variants.
In 2021, the brand felt the need to cater to the needs of the younger generation, hence the creation of their Woomera Wines in Can. This product, which comes in 250mL cans and in two flavors, White Moscato and Sweet Red Wine, delighted customers with its convenient, easy-to-enjoy packaging. They continued to give customers something new in 2022 when they launched the Woomera Premium Cabernet Sauvignon 2018.

Fast forward to this year; the launch of Woomera Pink Moscato brings the brand’s total offerings to seven, showcasing their continued commitment to innovation and delivering the signature Woomera experience to their patrons — and there's more to come.
