SGCX Brings Global Cocktail Culture to Singapore in June 2026

Looking for something to fill your June nightlife calendar? Then mark June 9 to 14, 2026 because something big is happening.

Singapore Cocktail Crossover (SGCX) brings six days of bar takeovers, guest shifts, lifestyle workshops, live music, food pairings, and festival programs across the city.

Billed as a "citywide celebration of cocktails, culture, and creativity," the lineup is nothing short of packed. It includes more than 15 international guest bars, several of which can be found in the World's 50 Best Bars list, and more than 50 international brands.

The updated program for Singapore's first cocktail cultural week is now live. Across the week, cocktails are expected to start from S$20, while drinks during the Festival weekend are priced at S$18 nett and up.

SGCX is split into two parts. From June 9 to 12, the event will roll out neighborhood collaborations across Singapore's heritage districts, with each day centered on a different cultural area. The activations will pair cocktails with food, fashion, music, and performance.

On June 9, the program kicks off with events along Bugis, Circular Road, and Marina Bay. Highlights include Hope & Sesame at ATLAS by Cointreau from 8 PM to 12 MN, followed by Bar Us at Sushi Samba by The Orientalists Spirits from 11 PM to 2 AM.

The following day, June 10, will feature Maison Mahjong at Side Door by Diageo and TAX at Elephant Room by Sazerac, both from 8 PM to 12 MN. Citadel will take over Milli Lounge by Solisca from 11 PM to 2 AM, with programming stretching through Tanjong Pagar and Bukit Pasoh.

On June 11, the party continues around Amoy, Duxton, and Neil Road. Soka will appear at Stay Gold Flamingo by Honeyland Intl. from 8 PM to 12 MN, while Smoke and Bitters takes over Sago House by BY.ARTISANS. Later that night, Root Down will appear at Jungle Ballroom by Rachelle The Rabbit Distillery from 11 PM to 2 AM.

An equally packed Friday can be expected on June 12 across Orchard, River Valley, and Robertson Quay. Paradiso will appear at Lavo by The Orientalists Spirits from 8 PM to 12 MN, while G.O.D. heads to Manhattan by Mermaid. Sip and Guzzle will take over Burnt Ends Bar by Michter's from 9 PM to 12 MN, and Bar Leone will appear at Wonder Room at The Singapore EDITION by Campari from 11 PM to 2 AM.

The final weekend, June 13 and 14, shifts into festival mode at Mett Singapore. More than 50 international brands and guest bars will pour curated cocktails alongside live music, DJ sets on the terrace, acoustic sessions, styling showcases, luxury food pairings, and hands-on workshops covering cocktails and much more. Street food from local and international vendors will also be available throughout the weekend.

Lively beats from Yujin, Kaye & Hookstyle, and Candice B., plus GrooveTop by Aurora, Raaj, and Ramesh are also ready to keep the party going.

SGCX is led by four industry figures: Henry Stonham, who led the launch of Bar Convent Singapore; Caryn Cheah, an operations and event strategist behind Lil Big with experience across Bacardi Legacy and Amber Lounge in Monaco and Abu Dhabi; Vijay Mudaliar, founder of Native and Analogue Initiative; and Peter Chua, director of Composed Concepts and owner of Night Hawk.

Together, the founders aim to highlight Singapore's role as a global hub for cocktail and lifestyle culture while spotlighting cross-cultural storytelling.

Nutmeg & Clove is celebrating their 12th anniversary the best way it knows how: filling up the bar with friends for a week of world-class cocktails and non-stop fun.

Dubbed the "Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta 2026," this week-long lineup features guest shifts and themed editions from May 24 to 31, 2026. The event brings together bartenders and bars from all over the world: Rome, the United States, Latin America, and Asia for four nights of drinking and mingling.

It all starts on May 24 with the Rome Edition, held in partnership with Medusa Osteria. From 8 PM onwards, the bar will host Patrick Pistolesi of Drink Kong (Rome, Italy) and Riccardo Rossi of Freni e Frizioni (Rome, Italy). Nutmeg & Clove's home turf is going to have an Italian energy unlike any other!

The party continues on May 26 with the United States of America Edition, also starting at 8 PM. Two names are set to bring some stateside, American flair to the cocktail counter: Harrison Ginsberg of Overstory (New York City) and Christine Kim of Service Bar (Washington D.C.).

On May 28, Nutmeg & Clove is hosting the Latin Edition, presented with La Birria Tacos. The lineup includes Gina Barbachano of Hanky Panky (Mexico City, Mexico), Jose Luis of Licorería Limantour (Mexico City, Mexico), and Marcio Silva of Exímia (São Paulo, Brazil). Singapore is about to have an energetic all-night fiesta.

To wrap things up on May 31, the Asia Family Feast brings it all back home, held with KEK and WOK IN. Nutmeg Cocktail Fiesta 2026's closing night features McHayla Killoran of Virtù (Tokyo, Japan), Felix Jo of Villa Records (Seoul, Korea), Athena Wang of Book ing (Taipei, Taiwan), and Lola Lau. The week is set to close with an Asia-focused gathering of familiar faces and fresh pours.

Employees Only Singapore is about to get a little dirty — just enough to make a weeknight exciting in the best way possible.

Dirty Supper and Dirty Sips will take over the cocktail bar for one night only on May 12, 2026, bringing with them a joint food and drink menu to Employees Only from 6 to 9 PM.

This collaboration, "two teams, one menu," will pair the New York-born bar's polished hospitality with Dirty Supper's produce-driven cooking and Dirty Sips' savory, kitchen-led cocktails.

Reservations are recommended for the event, which is sponsored by Dyspatchr.

For the May 12 event, the Employees Only Singapore side of the menu includes cocktails priced at S$24 each, such as the "Tomato Nose," made with Teremana Blanco Tequila, tomato shrub, Giffard Crème de Pêche liqueur, and Perrier soda. There's also the "Acai Atelier," with Wheatley Vodka, house-made acai green tea, hibiscus cordial, honey syrup, and egg white. "Texas Spring Sour" brings a different vibe with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, lemon juice, clarified apple juice, cinnamon syrup, orange bitters, and chardonnay. Lastly, "Hi-Octane" delivers high energy with Nusa Cana Dark Rum, Rosso Vermouth, Dry Curacao, chocolate bitters, and Angostura bitters.

The home turf food menu consists of Sourdough & Kajmak (S$12), Chili Crab Bao with picked cucumber and fried Man Tou (S$22), Grilled Endive with green herb Aioli, and almond crumble (S$16), Canadian Pork Cap with Mojo Verde and Jus (S$22), and EO B&J with vanilla gelato, cookie dough, and chocolate chip (S$22).

Dirty Sips is bringing their own cocktails (also at S$24 per glass) and food menu. Cocktails include the "Picked Lemon Martini" with Mr. Boston Dry Gin, picked lemon brine, and Baldoria Umami. There's also the "White Boy Negroni," with Mr. Boston Dry Gin, micro shiso, picked apricot, and Vinho Verde; as well as the "Going Bananas," with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, carrot brown butter, banana, and Peychaud's bitters. Tequila and mezcal lovers will enjoy "Chef's Water," which mixes Teremana Blanco Tequila, Cacao Mezcal, yellow bell pepper, habanero, white chocolate, sonic, and dairy. Lastly, the "Black Garlic and Honey Sour" is a curious mix of Los Vecinos Mezcal Espadin, black garlic and honey, and citrus.

When it comes to their food menu, Dirty Supper is keeping things exciting with Pig Head Croquette with white anchovy (S$16), Forgotten Carrot with whipped feta and buckwheat (S$16), Smoked Mackerel with fried chicken skin (S$18), Raw Prawn with macadamia, pickled watermelon rind, and cucumber (S$22), and Lamb Tartare with water chestnut, leeks, and picked chili (S$22).

The one-night partnership brings together two names with strong personalities. Employees Only, which first opened in downtown New York in 2004, has built a reputation as one of the modern cocktail world's defining hospitality bars. Its Singapore outpost opened in June 2016, a tropical sister to its city counterpart. Tucked behind a fortune teller's lair, the bar has since become a fixture in the city-state's drinking scene, with recognition from Asia's 50 Best Bars, Asia's 10 Best Bars, and World's Top 500 Bars.

On the other hand, Dirty Supper, spearheaded by Chef-Owner Peter Smit, champions whole animal cooking, grilling, and unexpected ingredient pairings. The restaurant's ever-changing menu is intentionally lean, guided by what produce is available on the day.

Dirty Sips, the beverage side of the Dirty Supper kitchen, continues to bring that philosophy into their glasses. Their bar program focuses on creative cocktails that incorporate elements from the kitchen, savory, and just as unexpected. They also serve wines spanning established and lesser-known regions, sustainable and minimalist producers, and craft beers from artisanal breweries.

For two nights this May 2026, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur will meet together for a four-hands dinner that blends rainforest foraging and fine-dining elegance.

Willow Restaurant Singapore is set to host Chef Aidan Low of Akar Kuala Lumpur for "Boys in the Jungle," a four-hands dinner this May 22 and 23, 2026.

Priced at S$338++ per person, the limited-run collaboration brings together two chefs with distinct, but complementary approaches to ingredient-led cuisine.

The dinner pairs Aidan, whose restaurant Akar was newly awarded one MICHELIN star, with Willow's Chef Nicolas Tam, whose contemporary pan-Asian restaurant also earned one MICHELIN star from 2023 to 2025.

At the heart of the event is a shared focus on terroir, seasonality, and fresh, native produce. Akar's menu draws inspiration from Malaysia's local ingredients, wild herbs, and indigenous produce. "Akar" means "root" in Malay — underscoring the restaurant's dedication to exploring the country's "mega-diverse ecosystem" and multicultural exchange.

Willow, on the other hand, celebrates seasonal ingredients through a modern, pan-Asian dining lens. They begin with strong produce brought to life with layers of technique, texture, and balance. Tam's "quiet precision with playful flavor" is shaped by Asian influences and is refined through French technique.

Diners can expect a menu that moves through "the richness of Malaysia's indigenous landscape and Asian ingredients," a dialogue between two culinary philosophies.

Aside from being "a shared journey across kitchens, discipline, and land," the dinner is also a friendly collaboration. With the cheeky event title, "Boys in the Jungle," these two chefs are taking diners through the rainforest, giving them access to one of Malaysia's compelling contemporary culinary voices — all within the heart of Singapore.

Singapore boasts a lot of coffee spots, but there are arguably only a few that deserve a second visit (more than twice, even), and that includes Frankie & Fern’s. Perched at the rooftop of Holland Road Shopping Centre, it is only accessible by the elevator, and it’s quite difficult to locate. But once you do, it will be a worthy discovery. It’s also highly regarded for its impressive menu offerings.

AiFOKATO, a new dessert and coffee concept inspired by Florence’s affogato culture, has officially opened at Telok Ayer, introducing a new and personalized way to enjoy the classic Italian treat.

Located at 111 Telok Ayer Street, AiFOKATO blends artisanal gelato with coffee craftsmanship and Asian dessert trends.

Guests can enjoy sculpted gelato paired with freshly poured espresso, matcha, or chocolate, or opt for the visually layered “-86 Dirty Coffee,” a hot-over-cold drink that’s almost like the ongoing “dirty coffee” craze sweeping over Asia.

The menu also features Butter Mochi, also known as Butter Tteok — a soft, chewy, and buttery dessert that’s popular in South Korea — alongside a curated selection of gelato flavors including Madagascar vanilla, pistachio, matcha, and dark chocolate.

In this article, we’ve rounded up some of the best food markets in Singapore, where quality and affordability meet.

Maxwell Food Centre

You know the area serves good dishes when it frequently has long queues — so let the heavy crowd speak for itself. Maxwell Food Centre is a go-to spot for authentic Singaporean flavor, often considered a favorite place for tourists and locals alike, with Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice standing out as a crowd favorite.

One downside about Maxwell Food Centre, however, is that you’ll often find the spot packed with massive crowds. But sometimes, a quality, well-priced meal requires a little bit of waiting (sometimes even a long wait). Despite that, you’re always guaranteed a “worth the wait” moment. And if you really want to try the food but don’t want the hassle of a long queue, it’s best to visit the area outside of peak hours.

Old Airport Road

One of the beloved hawker centers in Singapore, Old Airport Road takes pride not only in its longevity but also in some of the best stalls you can only find in the area. After all, in a space with over 100 stalls, it’s nearly impossible not to find a spot that will best match your cravings. And it’s considerably away from heavy crowds, so if you want a more subdued dining experience, this spot might be the best option for you.

Having been around since the 1970s, Old Airport Road wasn’t only a place with many food stalls — it’s also one that carries deep, cultural significance. Some of the most-recommended stalls include Western Barbeque, Cho Kee Noodle, Whitley Road Big Prawn Noodles, Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee, Xiang Ji Lor Mee, Qiu Rong Ban Mian, and more.

Tiong Bahru Food Centre

A visit to Tiong Bahru could evoke a nostalgic feeling, as it is one of the oldest residential neighborhoods in Singapore. Of course, you may also want to try the food market while you’re at it. Some of its famous hawker delights include Lor Mee 178, Hong Heng Fried Sotong Prawn Mee, Tiong Bahru Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice, and Jian Bo Shui Kueh.

Golden Mile Food Centre, also known as Beach Road Army Market, has been around since the 1970s and has continued to serve great dishes — for both locals and tourists — to this day. Located on the opposite side of the Golden Mile Complex (which most tourists often confuse with the actual hawker centre), it is also known for its variety of stalls that offer a wide range of affordable and authentic local cuisine.

With food options ranging from Indian, Indonesian, Malay, and Chinese delicacies, some of the must-try stalls in the area include Fried Kway Teow Mee, Keng Heng Whampoa Teochew Lor Mee, Flourful Delight, and Zhao An Granny Grass Jelly, among a handful of others.

Lau Pa Sat

Hailed as one of the most popular hawker centers in Singapore, Lau Pa Sat is perfect for food crawlers coming in late at night, as some stalls operate 24 hours a day. An award-winning hawker market, Lau Pa Sat also offers a wide range of food options, from The Viet Kitchen and Briyani Point Indian Food to Chan Ke Mei Shi and so much more.

While most stalls in the area are definitely must-tries, one of the main reasons why people flock to Lau Pa Sat is Satay Street, Singapore’s largest open-air street catered for satay lovers. The place is a great spot for someone wanting to immerse themselves in Singapore’s rich culinary heritage, all while enjoying grilled satay skewers sizzling over the lively, busy street.

As one of the largest food markets in Singapore, Chinatown Complex Food Centre pretty much has to be on every food lover’s itinerary. If you’re already in Chinatown, it’s best to visit its food center, which offers not only great local traditional dishes but affordable ones too.

A New Spanish Courtyard Dining Experience Opens in CHIJMES This April

A new Spanish dining spot is set to bring the spirit of tapas culture to Singapore’s central business district.

Opening on Apr. 1, 2026, Sabòr is a 100-seat concept located within the historic grounds of CHIJMES. The restaurant introduces a vibrant courtyard dining experience inspired by Spain’s vibrant tapas scene, pairing bold, rustic flavors with a lively, convivial atmosphere right in the heart of the CBD.

Backed by the team behind Duomo Ristorante, Sabòr marks their expansion into Spanish cuisine. The space features a glass-enclosed dining room alongside an open courtyard terrace, designed to shift from relaxed afternoons to energetic evening dinners and sobremesa.

The menu centers on soulful tapas and robust mains for sharing, with dishes such as Croquetas Spicy Crab, Bikini Sobrasada with Honey and Cheese, Angus Steak with Piquillo Peppers, and Grilled Barramundi with Moho Picón finished over binchotan. Paellas also take center stage, ranging from classic interpretations to richer variations such as Grilled Wagyu Beef and Pork and Scallops.

The culinary direction is led by Valencian-born Chef-Consultant Javier Vicente Rejas, co-founder of the London Paella School and a familiar presence in Singapore’s Spanish dining scene, including FOC. His approach emphasizes authenticity and technique, with a focus on traditional execution with bold, expressive flavors.

Beyond the kitchen, Sabòralso integrates curated music programming into its dining experience, creating a lively social atmosphere that reflects Spain’s communal dining culture. A dedicated happy hour also runs from 4:30 to 6:30 PM every day.

A new, go-to bubble tea spot has arrived on Singapore’s busiest shopping street earlier this month!

Chinese bubble tea chain Molly Tea has finally opened its first Singapore outpost at Orchard Central, marking the brand’s local debut with its largest Southeast Asia store to date.

Founded in Shenzhen in 2021, the jasmine-inspired tea brand has expanded rapidly, now operating more than 2,000 outlets worldwide across markets including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

The Singapore outlet opened its doors to the public on Mar. 6, 2026, with the space spanning around 1,400 square feet. Inside, Molly Tea’s signature soft pink tones and elegant floral elements decorate the store, with Molly — the brand’s mascot — dressed in a Merlion costume.

Known for its fragrant tea blends and fruit- and floral-forward flavors, Molly Tea offers an experience beyond the drink — but a gift of aroma, a moment of stillness, and a quiet connection.

Molly Tea serves its signature brews, such as the Premium Jasmine Milk Tea (S$5.20), crafted with double-petal jasmine flowers from Guanxi, and Snowy Jasmine (S$6.50), topped with jasmine-infused whipped cream and crushed pecans.

Other highlights include the Pistachio Jasmine Coconut (S$6.20), Premium Jasmine Apple Milk Tea (S$5.90), White Champaca Matcha (S$5.90), and White Champaca Oolong Tea (S$5.20). More options will be available in the future.

Molly Tea will also have merchandise in-store, including Singapore-exclusive blind box magnets priced at S$9.90.
