In our concrete jungle of a city, it is no more apparent that skateboarding is a dangerous hobby to enjoy, with side paths narrow, streets a death-threat, and signs everywhere prohibiting the travel on a grip tape board with four wheels.
However, Hong Kong boasts a number of world-class skateparks dotted around the territory to carve half-pipes, practice your ollies, and trick around. Here’s every single skatepark you can travel to flex your skills at.
Morrison Hill Road Playground Skateboard Ground
How to get there: Take the MTR to Wan Chai Station exit E3, head south to Wan Chai Market, and head left on Queen’s Road East.
Location: Sung Tak Street, Morrison Hill Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
Lai Chi Kok Park Skatepark
How to get there: Take the MTR to Mei Foo Station exit D, enter the Lai Chi Kok Park, and head south to the skatepark besides the tennis courts and football grounds.
Location: 1 Lai Wan Rd, Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon
Po Kong Villiage Road Skatepark
How to get there: Take the MTR to Diamond Hill Station exit A1, walk north to the Po Kong Village Road Park along the Fung Mei Path, entering the skatepark in the centre of the park.

Tseung Kwan O Skatepark
How to get there: Take the MTR to Hang Hau Station, head westward from Nan Fung Plaza, entering the skatepark to the north of the park.

Morse Park Skateboard Ground
How to get there: Take the MTR to Lok Fu Station exit A, walk through Lok Fu Recreation Park, and enter Morse Park through the south-east exit.

Tseung Kwan O Skatepark
How to get there: Take the MTR to Hang Hau Station, head westward from Nan Fung Plaza, entering the skatepark to the north of the park.

Chai Wan Pool-side Garden Skateboard Ground
How to get there: Take the MTR to Chai Wan Station exit C, follow Chai Wan Road to Siu Sai Wan, and turn right to Chai Wan Swimming Pool opposite the skatepark.

Kwok Shui Road Park Skateboard Ground
How to get there: Take the MTR to Tai Wo Hau Station exit A and head eastward to the park.

Kwai Shun Street Playground Skateboard Ground
How to get there: Take the MTR to Kwai Fong Station exit C, head south on Kwai Yun Road and then Container Port Road to Kwai Shun Street Playground.

Tung Chung Skatepark
How to get there: Take the MTR to Tung Chung Station, head north to Man Tung Road, and eastward following Tung Chung North Park, locating the skatepark at the most eastern side.

How to get there: Take the MTR to Yuen Long Station, board the Light Rail Yuen Long Terminus to Shui Pin Wai, and head southward to Town Park North Children's Playground opposite the skate park.
