Sai Kung
This street art in Hong Kong is created by one of HKWalls’ participants (@lunaciety) in the Youth Mentorship Programme. Seen on the wall of Sai Kung District Community Centre, the artwork features bright colours of sea creatures in their elongated forms and fish with bold colour patterns.
Here’s another Instagram-worthy street art within the neighbourhood of Sai Kung that would surely add a vibrant splash to your Insta feed. This was also painted by an artist (@zlism) who participated in HKwalls 2021 festival. She transformed a simple wall into an impressive mural featuring colourful mountains with whimsical characters.

Tank Lane
If you love Bruce Lee, you shouldn’t miss this colourful portrait drawn along Tank Lane, which is a 15-minute walk from MTR Sheung Wan Station exit A2. The mural shows the large back-to-back face of the Hong Kong-American actor infused with classic graffiti elements.
Quarry Bay
Bubble tea shop Chun Ye that sits along King’s Road in Quarry Bay transformed its exterior design into a mesmerising canvas featuring a village similar to Taiwan’s Jiufen Old Street. The artwork is complete with the town’s red lanterns and narrow alleyway swarming with tea houses, food stalls, and other elements.
Sai Ying Pun
Here’s a striking, well-detailed street art in Hong Kong illustrated by a local artist (@noblesketchbook) known for his hand-drawn sketches using water colours. You can see this urban canvas in Weave Suites along Queen’s Road West in Sai Ying Pun.
