Luxury Yacht Rentals in Hong Kong for a Day at Sea

In Jay-Z's "In My Lifetime" music video in 1998, the high-rolling rapper lives it up in the comforts of his own yacht, dancing and cruising around with his friends, all with a fancy flute of Champagne.

You're never going to be Jay-Z — let's get that out of the way — but who says you have to be a bigshot rapper like Hova to go yachting yourself anyway?

In Hong Kong, you, too, can realize your yacht dreams thanks to the slew of luxury yachts available for charter. The best part? You don’t need to have 23 Grammys and be married to Kween B herself to do it.

Sure, you probably won't be able to party on a yacht all day and night like Jay-Z (unless, of course, you're a multimillionaire), but if you're just after a day or two of being out at sea, then these yacht charter services are for you.

Hong Kong Yachting

If you want personalised boating events or boating services, look no further than Hong Kong Yachting. You can only expect the best from this company as it really knows its stuff. It is operated by an Australian/New Zealand family with experience in racing and cruising yachts for three generations, with a number of its boats having sailed from Australia all the way to Hong Kong to join its yachting fleet.

It offers flagship boats, junk boats, luxury cruisers, and sailing yachts for charter and has a myriad of packages such as the DJ Boat Party, Romantic Cruise, and Kids Party, among others.

Simpson Yacht Charter

Known as Asia's most established yacht charter company, Simpson Yacht Charter has been offering specialised yachting services since its inception in Hong Kong in 1984. Today, it has a team of over 100 staff in 11 offices across Asia. For an intimate gathering, check out Simpson Yacht Charter's 32-feet-long Saxdor 320 GTO, which has one cabin and can fit eight guests and one crew member, for US$3,462 (HK$27,000) a day. For bigger parties, there's the swanky 110-feet-long Euroyacht 110, which boasts of four cabins and enough space for 30 guests and five crew members. Be prepared to shell out US$12,305 (HK$95,000) for eight hours, though.

Asiamarine

A five-star yachting experience is what awaits you with Asiamarine, from tailored itineraries and fine catering services to luxury yachts at the ready like sailing catamarans, motor yachts, and superyachts.

For a family getaway, you can check out Asiamarine's 15-meter three-cabin Greenline 48, the ideal family yacht. It can accommodate 15 guests for day charter, six guests for overnight, and two crew members. Chartering this yacht costs around HK$38,000 for eight hours.

Michelangelo

If you want to experience the beauty of Hong Kong's iconic city skyline in a colonial-styled classic mahogany and teak motor yacht, then Michelangelo Cruises is your best bet.

The company's namesake yacht, the Michelangelo, is 80-feet-long and can accommodate 59 passengers easily. While it offers multi-zone air conditioning and heating for year-round cruising, it also boasts of teak sundecks for some much-needed lounging and sunbathing. For its Hong Kong Skyline cruise, there's the Central to Victoria Harbour itinerary and Central to Tsing Yi. It also offers cruises to Hong Kong's outer islands.
