Zuma Hosts ‘Beyond Zuma’s Wine Cellar’ Burgundy Wine Dinner on Apr. 26

Contemporary Japanese izakaya Zuma is set to offer a unique culinary experience ‘Beyond Zuma's Wine Cellar – Burgundy wine dinner,’ on Apr. 26, combining the delicate and refined flavours of Japanese cuisine with the rich and complex taste of Burgundy wines.
The wine dinner is priced at HK$1,788 per person and will offer an exquisite selection of 6 pairings, that showcases the true taste of Japanese cuisine and is perfectly complemented by luxurious Burgundy wines.
The menu will be curated by Executive Chef Quynh Phuong Brown and Head Sommelier Nicola Perrone, who will guide guests through the pairings. The meal progression will ensure each dish is expertly matched with the accompanying wine, from the must-try elevated Izakaya dish to the delectable sweetness of Zuma's Hokkaido Cheesecake.

The pairing will begin with Shishito Pepper with Goma Ponzu, paired with Bourgogne Aligote, “Vieilles Vignes”, René Bouvier 2018. The delicate pairing will then progress through a selection of refreshing dishes, followed by a specially created Grilled Obsiblue Prawn and Negi Goma Sauce with the intense flavours of Chassagne-Montrachet, Château de Pommard 2020, and Miyazaki Sirloin, A4 Grade with the rich and complex taste of Gevrey-Chambertin, Les Jeunes Rois, René Bouvier 2019.
The meal will conclude with an exquisite selection of warm Hokkaido Cheesecake with Caramel Cracker and Sakura Amaou Sorbet perfectly complemented with Pommard, Fanny Sabre 2020.
