MONMONO in SoHo Reopens with Summer Refresh & New Mediterranean Menu
Nestled within Central's lively SoHo neighbourhood, MONMONO is a go-to dining spot set in an eye-catching building akin to a piece of modern art. Since its inauguration in 2022, the restaurant has been lauded for its visually compelling, bright yellow décor.
This summer, MONMONO returns with a refreshed look inspired by classic Spanish haciendas. Modern elements meld seamlessly with a palette of sandy and golden hues, accentuated by touches of tropical greenery. The restaurant's revamp also sees the unveiling of a new seafood-centric menu that pays homage to the vibrant flavours and colours of Mediterranean cuisine.
The new offerings include starters like Scallop Crudo (HK$168), Grilled Octopus (HK$198), and Portuguese Clam Stew (HK$188), reminiscent of seaside eats cooked from the daily catch. The main dishes feature paella in three variants: squid (Black Paella, HK$248), Seafood (HK$288), and Lobster (HK$428), along with a delectable Seafood Pappardelle (HK$288), and a tangy Black Cod (HK$388) dish. For dessert, the crispy, airy Churros (HK$88) provide a sweet conclusion to a dining journey around the Mediterranean.
Beyond the food menu, MONMONO has also curated a range of beverages to perfectly complement the dishes. The wine list showcases Mediterranean wines from Southern France, Italy, and Eastern Spain, while their Spritz selections add to the coastal ambience of the dining experience. Guests can also enjoy a happy hour menu from Tuesday to Sunday between 3 PM and 7 PM. This includes a variety of beers, spirits, and wines, along with tasty bar snacks.
